   What it means is that working in a country where banking is a huge portion of the GDP will make a big difference (Luxembourg)

   Nowadays banks are evil, but having strong banks is not a bad think for an economy. I do not know the percentage of GDP from banks in Luxembourg, but in Switzerland is much less than what most people guess: “only” 7%.
   The problem with banks is that they turned into a corrupt and politically biased oligopoly that took the whole population as hostages.
